We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.
Account holders. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. These are used solely to authenticate you and manage your plan.
Usage data. For accounts with a daily usage limit, we maintain a counter of seconds used today against your account. This contains no information about what you watched. It resets every midnight.
Device preferences. Settings such as your chosen language are stored on your own device and are never transmitted to us.
We do not collect browsing history, video titles, page content, or any information about the videos you watch.
When you use the extension, audio from your browser tab is processed in real time to produce subtitles. This audio is never stored or retained by us in any form. We hold no record of any audio you process and no record of the content of anything you watch.
Audio processing begins only when you explicitly choose to start subtitles and grant the necessary browser permission. You may stop at any time.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store card numbers or payment details.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. Third-party infrastructure is used solely to operate the service and is subject to appropriate data processing agreements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@getlivelingo.com. We will respond within 30 days.
LiveLingo is not directed at persons under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
We may update this policy periodically. The date above reflects the most recent revision. Account holders will be notified by email of any material changes.
